This product contains Choline Bitartrate as the source of Choline. CDP Choline or Citicoline (a branded form of CDP Choline), is another good form of Choline. However, Choine Bitartrate is about 2X more potent than CDP Choline. In other words, you get more Choline from Choline Bitartrate than you would from CDP Choline or any other form of Choline available as pills.
