Does vitamin K2 thicken or thin the blood?

"Even though our bodies need Vitamin K to clot blood (during cuts, bruises etc.), Vitamin K does not actually make your blood clot. It merely gives your body what it needs to control clotting properly. Getting more Vitamin K1 or K2 than you need does not increase your clotting above normal. However, if you are on anticoagulant or blood thinning medications, you need to talk to your doctor before starting to take K1 or K2. If you are NOT taking anticoagulant medications then there isn't need for concern about too much K causing blood to clot or thin too much."
